The MTM’s are in a class by themselves. The micros sound like RadioShack speakers or the speakers that come free when you purchase a laptop.

Dude I used to watch the vids ages ago…cant believe youre still doing this. Change the name of the channel, do a rebranding to you…people follow you, not garageband…it will give you a lot more latitude…would love to see vids about you, gear, other daws and anything related to your brand. Anyway i have no skin in the game, im in finance i have a life outside of music but just seeing only 100k subs breaks my heart… you just need some good marketing moves

I have to say i disagree. I prefer the Godin. Ive just bought the journey grand auditorium and i love it. But plugged in, i think it sounds a bit too boxy and lacks clarity and middle and overall volume. Ive compared it alongside my older Taylor with the fishman pick up which is in my opinion one of the best plugged in acoustic guitar sounds ive ever heard. So im going to have an LR Baggs active anthem installed in my journey guitar

Hi, i have a question, is it possible to use a reamp box to do reamping with garageband ? i dont seem to find anything about this with garageband. Since you are a professional i thought i go ahead and ask. I dont want to spend hundreds of dollars on reampbox and then i cant reamp, cus i am only using garageband. Thanks.

I'm always mixing right after recording. My ears are mostly already tired from monitoring the recordings. K need to separate ear task more frequently. For the brain, recording, game staging, eq are all different new tasks, for the ears it all the same and tiring

Hey thanks for the update on these. I would never have considered these until watching your video from 4 years ago along with one done by Warren Huart. My dilemma is now choosing between these or go for the Genelec 8020 or the new Neumann KH80's. I really like the form factor of the MTM's but not being able to compare the 3 is a struggle. Congrats on the new space.

I imported a wave file into a new project on GarageBand using my MacBook Pro. I want to record an acoustic guitar on a new separate track. This seems like a ridiculously easy thing to do. Is there a step by step, no shortcuts tutorial to access this?

I have one of these and owned a 28. I always found it underwhelming. This has character..I'm 68 now and have been playing since I was 10 and You know..some Yamahas sound better than a 28..But I love this guitar and your comparison at the beginning. D18s D15m are fabulous also . D15M especially for recording. I knew a guy with a 28 in a band I played in. ...I didn't like him either ...😮😂😂😂😂😂

It's a complicated topic. Start with the vehicle. The most popular automobile on the planet is probably the Ford F150 truck. Behind that is likely the Chevy 1500. If they fail, Ford and Chevy take a bath. Therefore, they are generally built well. Not all years and not all drive trains are well designed and well made in either of these platforms. As a result of large sales volumes, parts are reasonable and it's not hard to find folks that know how to repair the basics. RVs... whole other matter. SUVs... depends. Some old school SUVs were built on truck platforms. Therefore, the positive notes about half ton trucks carry over. That's no longer true for newer models. Knowledge and skill are required to control a trailer and safely drive a tow vehicle. I see by the flat pin connector that the Wells Cargo probably does not have brakes... unless they are controlled by the tongue/surge. Surge brakes are a pain in reverse/backing. Same for backing down hill wherein the tow vehicle has to handle all braking. Cargo placement and load balance in trailers is critical for safety. Many drivers are not qualified to tow a trailer. Trailer brakes can help in various situations. Then there's parking. Gigs in metro areas are a pain for loading/unloading trailers. Yup, find three or four open parking spaces in a series in NYC or Cleveland or any city of size. There's also the matter of living quarters. Does the act pay for motels or have living quarters in a vehicle or trailer? Living quarters can save a bunch, if you don't mind sleeping in a parking lot. Here's the take away. The more we drive, the higher the chances for an accident. Interstate speeds lessen the chance of survival. I suggest it's critical for the safety of all involved, others as well, that the driver(s) have the ability to handle the touring rig properly. I suggest there's info to be gathered concerning a primary vehicle from reliable sources like a qualified mechanic. The question is simple. What's the most reliable automobile for my needs... what years, what VIN numbers. Consumer Reports is credible as well. How many vans and trailers and SUVs for me? Sixty years since the first gig.
